FLC Photo Lab
The lab was in the FLC's headquarters
area and stood alone.
Unseen in the first photo is the
air-conditioner. It was probably big enough to cool an average
size house.
Our bunker is to the right of the
lab. It was used to store soft drinks and beer. There was
barely room enough for the lab crew.
The NCOIC of the lab was Sgt. Nixon.
He had re-enlisted for photography and knew nothing of the
profession. But he was smart enough to delegate responsibility
and let the rest of us do our jobs.
Don't remember the Captains name.
Rarely saw him since he hid over in the Information Office.
Best place for him.
The most important member of the
lab was the guard dog. She knew every one that worked at
the lab and got very testy whenever a stranger wanted in.
Many times we had to tell her it was OK.
At night she would leave with the
last person and follow them to our hut and sleep under the
building. She kept all other aminals from getting near that
hut. First thing in the morning she would go with the first
person back to the lab.
