DAILY CHECK-UP - HM-1 Charles Messengill (Arkansas City, Kan.) of Supply Battalion, Force Lagistics Command, checks a patient for respiratory ailments during his daily rounds at Phuoc Xuan village northeast of Da Nang. Respiratory diseases, such as tuberculosis are a common ailment among refugee villagers. Daily check-ups are designed to catch these and other diseases before they become serious. The school is sponsored by the Civil Affairs Office of Force Logistic Command's Supply Battalion which distributed the CARE Sewing Kits and clothing and materials donated by the United States civilian organization.
