When he arrived at ISO to become it's NCOIC he was asked what his first prioity was. He answered, "Bust someone so they know who is in charge."

He was forced out of the Marines after it was learned he facked a wound in Vietnam. He fell into a ditch and then claimed his injury was from mortor fire. When his former commanding officer found out he received the Purple Heart he filed charges against the gunny.
