In June of 1997 this photographer went to Minnesota. Instead of flying we decided to drive and to visit parts of this country we hadn't visited in the past.

We have never been to Yellowstone and we wanted to at least spend one full day there to just discover the place. We drove less traveled roads and enjoyed it greatly.

Driving to Minnesota we traveled through California, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota and Minnesota.

The return trip we traveled through Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Nevada and finally California.

Instead of US 70, etc, we traveled state roads. Very little traffic and you travel through those many small towns.
