They’re tearing down the old Lifeguard Headquarters in Laguna Beach. It will be replaced and the new building will be in the same location. But much, much, much nicer. No smell for starters.
Yes he is that close to the equipment.

For Laguna Beach this is big stuff. A major construction project right at our front door, Main Beach. It’s next to our old Lifeguard headquarters which will be torn down and replaced next year. It’s all part of the same construction project. The difference here is that we can’t have this type of large engineering project going on during the summer. That means this first stage, the new sewer pump station, must be completed by May 30, 2012.
The old pump station lays beneath the Lifeguard Headquarters. I’m really looking forward to seeing exactly what is beneath the Lifeguard Headquarters building. If the money shows up phase two will start after Labor Day, 2012.
