This is not the proper way to carry your camera. Especially one as expensive as this one is.
I treat my cameras like a woman. While they’re with me they’re very special and I take every precaution to protect them. So I always use a strap and carry the camera over the neck. That way you can’t drop it, or have it ripped out of your hand and gone, baby, gone. Also with the camera hanging from the neck it’s always ready to use.
Of course when they get old and unreliable I dump them faster than you can say: “You’re outa‘ here!”

Growing up in Burbank, CA. I witnessed a lot of movie and TV shows being filmed on location. One thing that was always constant was watching a movie being made is worse that having to film a snail crossing the Sahara. It never gets done.
Here we are at Main Beach, in Laguna Beach, CA., and Oliver Stone is making a movie. No Oliver Stone is not in this photo. Nobody is.
It does make for some colorful photos though.

We’re a beach town and it seems appropriate that our Boardwalk at Main Beach should be our Main Street. It’s also our town square. A place to meet. A place to protest. A place to show off. And a place that makes for great people watching.
