Only in Laguna Beach would a construction site be shutdown because of a noise complaint. That’s right the City shutdown the site while they take the noise complaint under consideration.

This is not the proper way to carry your camera. Especially one as expensive as this one is.
I treat my cameras like a woman. While they’re with me they’re very special and I take every precaution to protect them. So I always use a strap and carry the camera over the neck. That way you can’t drop it, or have it ripped out of your hand and gone, baby, gone. Also with the camera hanging from the neck it’s always ready to use.
Of course when they get old and unreliable I dump them faster than you can say: “You’re outa‘ here!”

Bikes stacked up at the beach. With the price of gas to stay high for a while this just may catch on.

They’re tearing down the old Lifeguard Headquarters in Laguna Beach. It will be replaced and the new building will be in the same location. But much, much, much nicer. No smell for starters.

I try to take this same photo every time I go to LACMA. I had already taken a couple of photos when the woman in the center showed up. I prayed she would walk through the center of the four tables. She did and I snap the shot.
Just one. Yes you can go bang, bang, bang, and many more bangs or you can concentrate and just have to do it once. Old school style.
I really like the way she is carrying the sign. It’s as if it’s a religious ICON and she’s protecting herself from the fellows at the table.
